Since 2006, he has held the position of Researcher at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and since 2025 he has held the role of Associate Professor.
Since 1995, Gianluca Mampieri has exclusively practiced Orthodontics, both in private practice and in a university setting. Since 2024, he has been the Director of a Second-Level University Master’s Program in Orthodontics. In 2026, he has taken on the role of Director of the School of Specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
The EBO (European Board of Orthodontics) and EBAO (European Board of Aligner Orthodontics) certifications achieved confirm his high level of professional expertise in both traditional orthodontics and aligner therapy.
He is the author of more 70 scientific articles published in international journals.
He is an active member of SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics) and EOS (European Orthodontic Society), a member of the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists), and serves in the Executive Board of SI.TE.BI (Italian Society of Bidimensional Technique) and SIALIGN (Italian Society of Aligners).
